FUNKE Digital is the digital unit of the FUNKE Mediengruppe, one of the largest media companies in Germany, since March 2014. Moving images is our passion. As FUNKE Digital's video unit we are responsible for producing and distributing videos that has been created by our in-house editors as well as external partners. Our video and TV content reaches millions of unique users in seven countries and generates 100+ million video views every month. In addition to FUNKE's market-leading apps and portals, our cutting-edge technology distributes content to Smart TV brands such as Samsung and Philips.

Senior Full Stack Engineer (m/w/d)

YOUR ROLE

• You will be actively contributing to the product development including frontend, backend, infrastructure, operations and testing
• You will extend existing services written in PHP/TypeScript that are part of a micro-service based architecture running in a Kubernetes cluster
• You will identify and mitigate overlapping functionalities between different products developed at Funke Digital
• You will integrate external APIs into the product
• You are going to drive the agile mindset within the team
• You will support the engineering team to identify and adopt suitable new technologies
• You will share on-call responsibility with the engineering team
• You will be a member of a small cross-functional agile team with 4-6 engineers
