About the opportunity:
Shutterstock is seeking a Business Development Manager focused on hunting new customer bases, prospecting key existing clients with large potential in the Enterprise customer level by:
- Navigating large Media organizations, networking and selling to multiple buyers within varied layers
- Client base of 15 - 20 key newspaper clients + historical longtail of clients
- Solutions based approach across all verticals - covering full breadth of SSTK offering
- Approach each client with a long-term engagement plan
- Create senior relationships at C-level of each client
- Maximize profile of Shutterstock throughout whole company
- Launch Custom Editorial to Media clients
- Work collegiately with colleagues on a global strategy
- Drive longtail client list to maximize share
- Proactive retention strategies for renewals and upside from existing customer base
- Forming strong relationships and rapport with key decision makers and all members of the client team
- Provides solutions and other product offerings through site demos and presentations to customers
- Educating customers on the full Shutterstock product portfolio identifying upsell opportunities.
- Strengthening Shutterstock awareness within assigned account list.
- Working closely with assigned client account manager to create strategy, focus, and prioritization within assigned territory and/or account list
- Leading demonstrations on our Enterprise, Custom and Team platforms
- Structuring 5-6 figure Enterprise level agreements including all Shutterstock product offerings (imagery, footage, music, editorial, digital asset management, and custom photography)
- Identifying new revenue opportunities and creative ways to grow the business
- Creating strong relationships with key decision makers
- Building contact list through outbound communication
- Educating accounts, prospects and decision makers on Shutterstock enterprise products and value proposition
- Identify, negotiate, and plan marketing, PR and social activities
- Develop deep vertical expertise to be perceived as a trusted partner of their client segment
- Pipeline/forecast management
- Negotiation/close committed revenue deals
